Claressa Shields once again shows the world why she’s the G.W.O.A.T., defeating Kaye Scott by TKO in the 6th round at State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia, reclaiming the middleweight title. Claressa dropped Scott with a knockdown, and once the referee cleared her to continue, Claressa kept punishing her with powerful blows until Scott’s corner threw in the white towels, signaling she could not continue. While many of Claressa’s moments in the media are controversial, there’s no room to dispute her athletic abilities. A truly undefeated and unstoppable fighter from boxing to MMA, even rapping when the moment is right, she has continued to show the world that she’s the Greatest Woman of All Time through hard work, dedication, and resilience. Watching her dominate the ring against Scott this evening was truly exhilarating and emotional. Once Scott’s corner threw in the towel, Claressa took a moment to drop to her knees, which we perceived as gratitude, basking in another win for the two-time Olympic gold medalist.

Although CoCo has nothing left to prove, it’s said she plans to fight for seven more years, concluding her career at the age of 38. For us, it doesn’t matter — as long as Ms. Shields is gloved up, we’re tuned in and rooting for continuous greatness. Congratulations to you, Ms. Shields.
