Blog Growth & Endless Creativity
It seems every day I have a new creative idea for the blog, which keeps me constantly working on it instead of actually enjoying the fruits of my labor and growing my audience. Therefore, I’ve decided to post, even though the blog isn’t completely finished. That way, people will come, get a sense of what my blog represents, and decide to stay or go.
Of course, I want as many as possible to decide to stay, but I started working on the blog a year ago. There have been so many technical difficulties that the entire website was deleted twice. I couldn’t find a theme that actually fit what I was going for, so I decided to code my own. Child, that was so horrible that the entire site refused to load. Finally, I decided to use an existing theme and adapt the code to my liking; that worked, but, as previously mentioned, the entire site was deleted twice, forcing me to start over too many times.
Now we’re here. I have a blog that I love, and my creativity is on overload, causing me to push out several new ideas a day. I won’t complain, because there was a time I thought I’d lost my creative spark. Hell, I once cried about my creative abilities being gone. With that said, overload me, please.
This is just a PSA: informing people about where I am as a creative and why the blog seems “unfinished”. Obviously, it technically is, though some things may be operating at 100% compacity and others not so much. Either way, I hope that anyone who visits soshespeaks.com finds a home here and a kindred spirit.
Until next time, create for me!
Oh, so she speaks!
